Joana Vilaça is a Portuguese-born architect currently based in Switzerland. She graduated as an architect from the Technical University of Lisbon in 2009 and subsequently collaborated with several architectural offices in the Netherlands and Portugal. Experiences that allowed her to expand her background in Architecture and work in many different project settings and cultures. Between 2017-2022, Joana worked as an architect at Herzog & de Meuron Architects in Basel, where she developed her skills in the building processes, further expanding her architecture and design language. Since 2023 Joana started exploring object and interior design.
